On the Japanese market, Mitsubishi just put out its Galant Fortis Ralliart 4WD sedan, also known as the Lancer Ralliart and will dry the Japanesse of 2,982,000 YEN (some 28,590 USD). The car is a low carb version of the EVO X, with a turbocharged 4B11-type 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC MIVEC engine good for 177 kW (240 hp) @ 6000 rpm and 343 Nm @ 3000 rpm, just to make sure it can roll.
Not bad, but not as bad as the EVO X. At least I think that was the whole idea behind Lancer Ralliart. It's not only the Japanese that will be happy to drive one. The Americans will have it in their garages starting with this September for something close to $27,000.
